Our mission is to execute the best ABA therapy we can possibly provide to your family. Our intent is to offer effective and evidence-based interventions that are aimed to improve the lives of our clients and their loved ones. We promise to work hard for your child, keep them safe, healthy and to give them a fun experience while broadening their horizons.Enroll
Before therapy begins, your child must undergo several assessments to find out where they are at behaviorally, academically and socially. These assessments greatly aid us in tailoring a program that is individualized for your child. Below are examples of some of the assessments:
Given enough same aged children, social groups can be formed. 3-4 children will be grouped together and they will go out in to a natural environment to work on targeted skills. Social groups usually occur on Saturdays. The focus of social groups is to learn how to work together, cooperate, and to form friendships.
The BCBA is available to help you and your family to prepare for school ARDs and to attend ARD meetings as an advocate for your child. Learn More about the ARD.
We provide in-home based therapy in a section of your house that you set aside for us. Your therapy area can be a kitchen table or a dedicated play area; we are flexible with your living arrangements for our sessions. A therapist will come to your home to conduct a one-on-one therapy session with your child. These therapy sessions can run anywhere from 2-4 hours. We will provide the majority of supplies needed to conduct therapy, but there are a few supplies that will need to be purchased by the family. Materials purchased by you will stay in your home. The BCBA will come to your home at set intervals, depending on the need of the child, to conduct team meetings. Team meetings consist of program updates, Q &A, and new training on specific programs. Usually, the parents, the BCBA, and the child's therapists are present for the team meeting.
We are now offering one-on-one sessions at our office in Waxahachie. This environment allows us to set a foundation for your child to learn academic, social and life skills in a safe and quiet place. We believe this structure will help them in reaching their goals and normalize their skill sets in every situation they encounter.
